Weekend freeway restrictions May 17-20

PHOENIX — Many Valley drivers can expect an easy driving weekend, but those in the North Valley should plan extra travel time.

• Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between 35th and Seventh avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Both Interstate 17 ramps to eastbound Loop 101 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Southbound I-17 will be closed at Bell Road from 11 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday.
