Biden, McCain to talk freedom, democracy at Arizona forum

SEDONA, Ariz. — Vice President Joe Biden and Arizona Sen. John McCain will
be in Sedona on Friday to talk about how to promote democracy and freedom.

The forum is part of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at
Arizona state University.

Biden and McCain will speak during the opening dinner of the annual forum,
which isn’t open to the public.

ASU President Michael Crow said the discussion should be thought-provoking.

McCain said Biden has a unique perspective on the United States’ role in the
world because of his experience in the Senate and as vice president.
