PHOENIX — Arizona’s voter registration numbers are nearly 2,700 lower since the last report in January.
The Secretary of State’s Office announced Friday that Arizona now has slightly more than 3.2 million registered voters.
Nearly all of the electorate is divided roughly into thirds, with 1.1 million Republicans, about 977,000 Democrats and about 1 million independents.
Members of the Libertarian, Green and Americans Elect parties account for about 1 percent of the electorate.
