Arizona AG Tom Horne statement on Boston Marathon bombings

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne released the following statement on Monday after three people were killed and more than 170 were injured by bombs at the Boston Marathon.

It has not been altered in any way.

“One of the primary duties of my office is to be an advocate for people who have been victimized by acts of violence. Today’s incidents in Boston were nothing less than despicable and cowardly attacks on innocent people.

On behalf of everyone in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of these senseless acts. It is my fervent hope that whoever perpetrated these horrific attacks is brought to swift justice.”
