TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson woman and her live-in boyfriend now face
first-degree murder charges in wake of the death of the woman’s 4-year-old son.
Tucson Police said the boy died Saturday as a result of injuries suffered March 20. The injuries, said responding paramedics, weren’t consistent with accidental drowning, as had been reported.
Police initially arrested 26-year-old Jody Minley and 27-year-old James Dwight
Robinson on child-abuse charges.
Sgt. Maria Hawke said police aren’t releasing the boy’s name. That is Department policy for child crime victims.
