While one single $338 million Powerball ticket matched all six numbers (17, 29, 31, 52, 53 and Powerball 31) in New Jersey, the state of Arizona reportedly didn’t go home empty-handed Saturday night.
According to ABCNews.com, officials with the lottery said that in addition to the jackpot ticket, 13 $1 million tickets were also sold. One of those was said to be from Arizona.
Powerball success is nothing to new to Arizona, after all just last December a man from Fountain Hills claimed his share of a $587 million jackpot.
No word yet from lottery officials as to whether or not Saturday night’s $1 million ticket has been claimed.
