Tucson man facing charges after marijuana seizure

TUCSON, Ariz. — A man has turned himself in to Tucson police after investigators found a sophisticated marijuana growing operation in his house and a warehouse.

Police say 42-year-old Ronald James Sisco was booked Thursday into the Pima County jail.

He’s being held on suspicion of unlawful possession of marijuana for sale, unlawful cultivation of marijuana for sale, unlawful possession of narcotic paraphernalia and child abuse.

During the investigation, police discovered Sisco had his nearly 2-year-old child living with him.

Officers on patrol March 14 smelled marijuana and obtained a search warrant for a warehouse, which was partially converted into a residence.

Detectives found 356 marijuana plants growing inside the residence and more than 53 pounds of cultivated hydroponic marijuana in both the residence and warehouse.
