PHOENIX — Authorities say a teenage boy is dead after being shot in the
chest in a Phoenix neighborhood.

“We’re getting some conflicting stories from those who we believe were present and we think there were three or four individuals in the home that this either incurred in or in front of,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump. “They’re not being fully cooperative with us at this point. We don’t have a lot of information. We’re going to wait on a search warrant.”
Police say three or four people were inside of the house at the time and
several of them have been taken into custody.
Crump said reports that emergency responders took 20 minutes to arrive are false. Tolleson Fire was on the scene within six minutes of getting a call from police, who arrived two minutes after the shooting.
