PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. — The home of former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner has sold at auction for more than $2.5 million.
Phoenix television station KTVK reports that another Paradise Valley resident purchased the home.
Warner’s home was initially offered for $5 million. Concierge Auctions was later retained to sell the home in cooperation with Christine Donnelly of Home Smart International.
The 11,300-square-foot luxury estate boasts a 24-foot-tall grand foyer, a glass and metal staircase and an elevator. It also has a lap pool, spa and fountains. The backyard has a fireplace, kitchen with bar area and a cabana.
Warner retired in 2010. After working his way from stocking grocery shelves to the Arena Football League and eventually the NFL, he left the game with three Super Bowl appearances, two league MVP awards and a Super Bowl MVP nod.
