• Build-your-own pizza shop Eklectic Pie has been serving up it creations for a couple weeks in at its first Valley location, but the official ribbon cutting will be Monday. The family-owned business at Stapley Drive and Baseline Road will be running fundraisers and contests through Saturday.
• State Farm Insurance, Quicken Loans, Cox Communications and more than 20 other businesses in the Valley are hiring for customer service, sales, and support roles. The Tempe Center for the Arts hosts Localwork.com’s Greater Phoenix two-hour job fair starting at 10 a.m. Monday.
• Flower Child kicks off an 11-day job fair Monday for its restaurant opening next month in central Phoenix. The restaurant, the third in the chain, will be located in the Uptown Plaza shopping center at Central Avenue and Camelback Road. All positions are available from servers, to line cooks to dishwashers. Job fair hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily thought Oct. 30.
