BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A court ruling will allow a Golden Valley woman to keep open her no-kill animal sanctuary for dogs and cats.

However, Superior Court Judge Lee Jantzen ruled that a 2007 ordinance does not
specify the type of flooring used for animal sanctuaries.
Jantzen’s ruling Monday allows Allison to obtain a county environmental health
A lawyer for the county had said that sand does not harbor bacteria or blow
away in the wind.
The Mohave Daily News reported that Allison already had
a zoning use permit that allows her to have up to 200 dogs and 100 cats.
