TUCSON, Ariz. — The Forest Service plans to add a cabin in the Catalina
Mountains to its roster of sites available for rental.
The five-room cabin can accommodate four people. It is located at a Coronado
National Forest administrative site at nearly 8,000 feet of elevation on the
Catalina Highway that ascends to Mount Lemmon.
The Forest Service’s “Room with a view” program already offers rentals on
about a dozen sites in various national forests in Arizona.
According to the Arizona Daily Star , the Forest Service
is seeking public comment on the plan, which could make the cabin available
for rental this summer.
