Safeway offering new vaccine for upcoming flu seasion

For a limited time, Safeway is offering flu immunizations, medication and health counseling.

As flu season comes to Arizona, you can walk into Safeway with no appointment and get your annual flu vaccine shot. Along with your flu shot, Safeway will provide a coupon for 10 percent off that can be used in the grocery store.

The vaccine this year has a different strain of the flu virus from years past. The Center for Disease Control stresses that that you should get vaccinated annually.
