Your swimming pool may look fine this winter, but skipping on maintenance now can become a costly decision by summer.
Michael Love with Love Pool Care in Phoenix said the biggest concern is neglecting your pool and equipment.
“Right now, the number one thing is preventative maintenance. Try to take care of your water right now. If the calcium is really high, now is a great time to drain and refill, and get the proper chemicals in there.”
Love said hard water can cause problems with filters and dirty water can leave stains that are difficult to remove.
Love recommends weekly service all winter long to keep pumps running properly and the water clean and balanced.
