Northern Arizona is experiencing higher than normal temperatures and a recent dry spell, but Dave Smith with Arizona Snowbowl said he’s hoping history repeats itself for winter.
“If it sets up like it has the past few years, it’s typically right around the beginning of December that we start to see good snowfall,” said Smith.
Smith said the resort has been opening right around the middle of December and this year it will stay on track — with or without Mother Nature’s help — thanks to snowmaking equipment.
Snowbowl is holding with a job fair Wednesday at the Hart Prairie Lodge, which begins at 3 p.m.
