PHOENIX — This is the final push for President Barack Obama and Republican rival Mitt Romney in the race for the White House.
Almost everybody is focused on the importance of winning Ohio but Stan Barnes with Copperstate Consulting said he’s expecting a few surprises.
“It may be Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin,” he said. “I believe the race is so close that we can’t say where the surprise comes from and its impact. It’s going to be an exciting night.
“In 2008, the turnout was especially high among Democrats and minority voters who put Barack Obama in the White House. Whether or not that enthusiasm is there now is really the question.”
