A puppy that was tossed out of a truck window has found a new home.
Mio, a 10-week-old Labrador mix, was adopted Wednesday from the Arizona Humane Society. She had been brought in for care after a passerby found the puppy in a bag that had been deliberately dropped out of a vehicle near Queen Creek.
Ashleigh Adams is Mio’s new owner. The puppy has recovered from head trauma and lung contusions.
Two teenagers were arrested in Surprise after an attempted burglary at a residence on Monday, authorities said.
