What is this world coming to?
Another school has become common sense-free zone. An Irving, Texas ninth-grader was arrested Monday for bringing a clock he built to school. A clock adults thought looked like a bomb.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Ahmed Mohammed, 14, was taken into custody after school officials called police about the digital clock.
The boy was also suspended from school.

Constructing clocks is one of the teen’s hobbies, according to the newspaper story.
I seriously question the intelligence and decision making process of the teachers and administrators involved in this and will assume they make equally asinine choices when it comes to other students.
Thank you for your support! I really didn't think people would care about a muslim boy. #Thankyouforstandingwithme #IStandWithAhmed

A lot of people took to social media in support of Ahmed, but he certainly gained one big supporter.
Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great.
