She wore a raw meat dress to make a statement about gays in the military, today Lady Gaga’s infamous attire is part of a new exhibit making its way across the country.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has opened an exhibit called Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power.
According to a statement, “it’s a groundbreaking and provocative new exhibit that illustrates the important roles women have played in rock and roll, from its inception through today. It highlights flashpoints, the firsts, the best, the celebrated — and sometimes lesser-known women — who moved rock and roll music and American culture forward.”
More than 70 artists will be highlighted, including Stevie Nicks, Cher and Loretta Lynn. In total, there will be more than 250 items from different performers.
The travelling exhibit is coming to Musical Instrument Museum next fall.
