PHOENIX — Looking for something to do this weekend in the Valley? The list below offers a few options.
It’s motorcycles only Friday night in downtown Mesa. Some of the best bikes in the Valley will be on display on Main Street between Center and Morris streets. It’s kind of like one giant motorcycle rally. No cars allowed between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Admission is free.
Los Tres Tenores (and a Soprano)
Arizona native Juan Huerta and Los Tres Tenores are onstage Friday at Paradise Valley Community College. Soprano Anna-Lisa Hackett will join the trio as they perform their favorite Mexican and Italian opera songs. Tickets range from $8 to $15.
National Teddy Bear Day in Glendale
Saturday is National Teddy Bear Day, and downtown Glendale is taking part. The first 300 people who donate a teddy bear will receive coupons and discounts to all of the cool shops and restaurants in the historic downtown area. The teddy bears will go to charity.
Rising comic Anjeluh Johnson is at Stand Up Live! this weekend. The former Oakland Raiders cheerleader makes fun of dating, her heritage and the Raiders. Tickets are $32.
Silent Sunday at North Mountain
Skateboarders, cyclists, wheelchairs and children in strollers get all of North Mountain Park to themselves Sunday. Motorized vehicles won’t be allowed from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free.
Pops Concert by the Chandler Symphony Orchestra
The Chandler Symphony Orchestra is holding a pops concert Friday night. The orchestra will perform all of your favorite light classics. Admission is free but donations are encouraged. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
