There is some nasty weather in the Southeast Valley Monday night.
A flash flood warning is in effect for east central Maricopa County and south central Arizona, including Mesa and Gilbert, until 9:15 p.m.
The National Weather Service is reporting the Southeast Valley was hit hard by severe thunderstorms, causing floods and some power outages.
There are reports of pea-sized hail in the Ahwatukee area and heavy winds have caused trees to be knocked down in east Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert.
Forecasters say the rain came and went and there’s only a ten percent chance of more rain the rest of the evening.
