Weekend freeway restrictions July 27-30

There will be a few restrictions in place on Valley freeways this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

• Eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed between the I-17 stack interchange and the State Route 51 ministack from 9 p.m. Friday to 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

• Westbound I-10 will be closed overnight between Seventh Street and Seventh Avenue from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.

• Northbound SR 51 will be narrowed to one lane between Northern Avenue and Shea Boulevard from 11 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday.
