Pinal County offering free back-to-school immunizations

Jul 25, 2012, 2:03 PM | Updated: 2:03 pm

Pinal County students who have not been immunized against common childhood diseases can get the necessary shots for free before heading back to school, the county said in a press release.

The county said that all it needs to immunize a child is past immunization records and your permission. No residency questions will be asked.

“A fully vaccinated child is protected against 14 serious and sometimes deadly diseases,” said Tom Schryer, Pinal County Public Health Director in a press release. “These are diseases that are completely preventable with immunizations. We urge all Pinal County families to ensure that their children are up-to-date on immunizations.”

A list of locations, along with the hours, of where the immunizations are being given is listed below.
