Relive first day of school jitters through eyes of a kindergartner

For some of us, the first day at a “big kids” school was so long ago that we forget the jitters that came along with it.
To help us remember and document her own journey as she becomes an official big kid, 6-year-old Adrianna strapped on a GoPro during her first day of kindergarten at Craig Elementary in St. Louis, Missouri.
(Warning: If your little ones recently started their journey into school, the cuteness of the video plus Taylor Swift’s “Never Grow Up” might bring you to tears.)
Adrianna’s father, Derek Duncan, said in an interview with ABC News that he came up with the idea after watching a similar project involving a student on their first day of high school.
“We thought it would be an awesome idea of what it would look like from a kindergartner’s point of view,” he said in an interview with ABC News. “We hope when people watch the video, they see themselves or their own kids who are about to go to kindergarten, or go to school for the first time or maybe going off to college.”
We wish you much luck and happiness in your big kid endeavors, Adrianna!
