Instagram video captures Valley area storms colliding

Few things in this world are more impressive than Mother Nature. Particularly this time of year, when Valley residents often bear witness to some spectacular storms during the area’s monsoon season.
This past Monday offered one of the more impressive scenes from monsoon season thus far. With winds gusting in upwards of 60 mph and heavy rains flooding much of the Valley, roughly 20,000 residents in Central Phoenix were left without power and multiple flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor were delayed due to the storm.
The chaotic evening also produced some dazzling footage of lightning cracking across the sky and intense dust storms that clouded the horizon. The latter was captured in the video above by Instagram user @lenniswayne, who recorded the convergence of two storm fronts colliding over the West Valley.
