Looking for something to do this weekend in the Valley? This list below offers a few options.

Joan Jett

Joan Jett is at Talking Stick Resort Saturday. But if you love Rock ‘N Roll, you’ll have to put more than just a dime in the jukebox. Tickets range between $50 and $100.

Foster the People

In the mood for something different? Indie pop band and two-time Grammy nominee Foster the People is at Comerica Theatre Saturday. A ticket will cost about $35.

Job workshop

It’s not who you know or what you know. The key is getting in good with the people who are in charge of the hiring. There’s a free workshop in Phoenix Saturday morning that teaches you how to do it.

Mike Epps

One popular comedian is already thinking about back to school. Mike Epps is at Standup Live! Saturday in Phoenix.

Beach Boys

It’s the 50th anniversary tour of the Beach Boys and Phoenix is on the list. They take the stage Sunday night at Grand Canyon University. Tickets start at $56.

Rockstar Mayhem Festival 2012

Anyone looking to do a little rocking out will want to head to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival at the Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavillion on Friday. Tickets start at $49.
