Boys crossing Phoenix street hit by car, expected to survive

PHOENIX — Two boys were in a Phoenix hospital Tuesday morning after they were hit by a car while crossing the street.
The 12-year-olds were in the crosswalk at 75th Avenue and Thomas Road when a car hit them, said a spokesman for Phoenix Fire.
Their injuries were described as nonlife-threatening.

The car went through the intersection and hit three more vehicles, according to Phoenix Police.
None of the drivers were injured and all remained at the scene.
