The unhappiest cat of all time — Arizona’s Grumpy Cat — will become the first feline wax figure in Madame Tussauds’ San Francisco location.
Not only that, but she’ll be the lone wax figure to move in a lifelike manner in over 100 years and was scheduled to throw out the first pitch Sept. 7 at an Arizona Diamondbacks game.
The good news did not come close to putting a smile on the cat’s face.
“This is truly an honor,” an unimpressed Grumpy Cat, also known as Tardar Sauce, said in a Madame Tussauds press release.
“I hate it.”
Grumpy Cat made Internet history in 2012 after her photo was posted on Reddit, according to her official website.
The Morristown celebrity has received many awards and accolades, including Friskie’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
She authored “Grumpy Cat: A Grumpy Book” in 2013 and even inspired the 2014 Lifetime movie, “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.”
After debuting in San Francisco, Grumpy Cat’s wax likeness will tour five other Madame Tussauds locations across the U.S.
Grumpy has been celebrated in Arizona for a while now. The little furball of disgruntlement has even inspired the Diamondbacks to host a night in her honor next week at Chase Field.
