Laughs earn cash.
That’s what can be gathered from Forbes’ list of the highest-paid TV actors, seeing as 11 of the 15 leading men on the list star in a sitcom.
To make this list, Forbes measured earnings before subtracting management fees and taxes. The figures are based on data from Nielsen as well as interviews with agents, managers, lawyers and syndication experts.
Jim Parsons of “The Big Bang Theory” tops the list: he made $29 million between June 1, 2014 and June 1, 2015. Parsons was ninth on last year’s list, but a new contract, an endorsement deal with Intel and a Broadway show bumped him up to first.
Stars from “Modern Family,” “Two and a Half Men” and Parsons’ co-stars also made the list, and even though “Everybody Loves Raymond” has been of the air for years, Ray Romano is still raking in the cash with $15 million.
It wasn’t all funny men who made the list though — stars of hit dramas “NCIS,” “House of Cards” and “Grey’s Anatomy” made the big bucks too.
Here’s a look at all 15 of the best-off actors on the small screen:
