A 43-year-old man was shot and killed Friday night after police said he got involved in a verbal dispute with another group of men.
The Phoenix Police Department said officers responded to a report of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Baseline Road. There, police said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
According to police, two men got into a verbal argument in the parking where the deceased man pulled out a handgun and began pointing it at another group. Police said he then began to chase two people with the gun at which time a 38-year-old man shot him.
