PHOENIX – A Casa Grande businessman has been arrested in a child
pornography case.
Authorities say 63-year-old Jere Robert Hansen was taken into custody Thursday
morning after police found several items of child pornography at his business.
Officers from the Phoenix Police Department’s Arizona Internet Crimes Against
Children Task Force served Hansen with a search warrant for his business.
Police arrested Hansen and booked him into Pinal County Jail. They say he’s
been charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Authorities didn’t immediately know whether Hansen has a lawyer yet for his
case.
The Arizona Republic says Hansen works as an accountant and has served as an
official at youth soccer games in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
