Gladiator Fire burn area closed indefinitely

The area burned by the Gladiator Fire will be closed to the public until it is deemed safe by officials, the Forest Service said in a press release.
The closure only affects the Prescott National Forest in the Bradshaw Ranger District. All known access points, roads and trails into the fire area will be closed.
The perimeter of the fire area is also closed.
Only someone with a permit, a resident, a member of a rescue or firefighting force or someone involved in business in the area will be permitted.
The full closures, as listed in the press release, appear below.
“Senator Highway (County Road 56): Beginning at the intersection of Senator Highway and Forest Road (FR) 89, legal description of Township 11 North, Range 1 West, Section 4, heading south along Senator Highway to the intersection of Senator Highway and FR 362 (Hooper Saddle).
Gladiator Fire Perimeter: All known access points, roads and trails leading into the affected fire area will be closed. Affects Forest Trails: 131, 202, 215, 216, 225, and 275. Affects Forest Roads: 89, 92, 9240A and 9268M.”
The closures begin Wednesday.
