PHOENIX — Phoenix police are hoping an assault rifle found inside a home
will lead them to the suspects in a shooting that left two people wounded.
KPHO-TV reported police were called to a house late
Sunday night and found a man who had been shot in the face and neck.
He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said another man who was wounded fled from the shooter through a
broken window and went to a convenience store for help. His injuries were
considered non-life-threatening.
Police have not identified any suspects or a motive.
