Car crash on 48th Street sends 3 to hospital

Fire crews from Phoenix, Tempe and Guadalupe responded to a vehicle crash on 48th Street that has closed the street near Vineyard in Phoenix and has sent three people to the hospital Sunday.
According to Phoenix fire, they extricated a male in his 30’s from a sports car and transported him to an area trauma center in critical condition.
Three other patients were transported by ground to area hospitals and are listed in stable condition.
The accident is currently being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department.
