When severe weather comes rolling through, some local reporters take risks to tell the best story in their live report.

While it was not as risky as charging into a storm, 3TV’s Mike Watkiss reported from a large puddle at 15th Avenue and Roosevelt Street and took the punishment for his position on an active road.

Like a true pro, Watkiss continued his report like nothing even happened.

Besides the obvious, one can’t help but grin at Watkiss reporting on caution as he gets splashed.
