Out with the old, in with the new: Arizona State University Police will be updating its patrol fleet and the rollout has quietly begun at the Tempe campus.
The familiar white cars and SUVs with school colors maroon-and-gold lettering are making way for black vehicles tricked out with dashcams and new computers, the school said.

Right now, there are four new vehicles. “We are very excited to add these vehicles to our fleet and believe the new color scheme will make our officers more visible to the ASU community,” campus Police Chief Michael Thompson told ASU News.
