UNITED NATIONS (AP) — A U.N. Security Council diplomat says the United States will circulate a draft resolution Wednesday that will authorize the agreement between six major powers and Iran to rein in its nuclear program.
The diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity because talks were private, said the U.S. informed council members Tuesday evening that it would introduce the resolution at the end of closed consultations on Libya scheduled for Wednesday morning.
The diplomat says U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power will outline the main points in the agreement to council members.
