PHOENIX — The Indian Bend Road on- and off-ramps will be closed starting July 13 as part of the Loop 101 widening project, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
All four of the ramps will be rebuilt to fit the wider freeway and are scheduled to reopen by mid-September. The ramps at Indian School Road are also in the process of being rebuilt.
The work is part of a $73 million project to add right lanes along Loop 101 between Shea Boulevard and the Loop 202. The project will be completed by next year.
Motorists are encouraged to use other ramps, such as those at McDonald Drive or Via De Ventura, to avoid delays.
