On July 7th , at HALO's Pet Adoption Center inside Metrocenter, Phoenix, AZ Mall, a man stole HALO's donation box. That is stealing money directly from the animals in need. "At this time of year, the needs of the pets are overwhelming due to the sheer volume of pets needing help" said President and CEO of HALO Animal Rescue, Heather Allen. "so to be robbed of desperately needed funds at a time like this, is extra devastating."

PHOENIX — Surveillance footage captured a man stealing an animal rescue donation box at Phoenix’s Metrocenter Mall Tuesday.
The man appears to approach the front desk armed with scissors. He cuts the cord, separating the donations from the desk and leaves the adoption center with the box in his arms.
HALO Animal Rescue, a non-profit, no-kill facility, posted the video above to their Facebook page hoping to catch the thief.
“At this time of year, the needs of the pets are overwhelming due to the sheer volume of pets needing help,” HALO President and CEO Heather Allen wrote in a Facebook post. “So to be robbed of desperately needed funds at a time like this is extra devastating.”
