PHOENIX — Amy’s Baking Co. owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo are looking to sell their Scottsdale restaurant and start their own wholesale dessert business, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

The couple said they have a buyer from France lined up and hope to finalize a deal next month. The potential owners have not yet received visa and immigration approvals.

If the deal goes through, the Bouzaglos plan on selling and delivering custom-made desserts to restaurants and businesses out of Gold Canyon, Arizona.

The Bouzaglos are attempting to leave their bad reputation behind after a disastrous 2013 appearance on Gordon Ramsey’s “Kitchen Nightmares” where they were seen cursing out customers and treating their employees poorly. The production of the episode was cut short when Ramsey walked out on them.

The Internet hate soon followed with people taunting the quality of the food and criticizing the way the owners treat their waitresses.

This resulted in the couple lashing out on social media and claiming sexual harassment by Ramsay.

On top of all of those mishaps, Samy was also in the news for allegedly threatening a customer with a knife.

We want to hear from you.
