Arizona hotels make list of top ‘swim-up’ bars in America

Summer is officially here. That means pools, drinks and sunbathing will be a staple for those looking to load up on Vitamin D over the next couple months. Arizonans looking to do all three activities in style are in luck, as Thrillist compiled a list of the top 15 “swim-up” bars in the United States; a list which features two Arizona hotels.

Ranking second on the popular food, drink and travel website’s list is Sabino’s Swim-Up Bar & Grill located at The Westin La Paloma Hotel in Tucson. Featuring a picturesque view of the Santa Catalina Mountains, patrons can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink options on Sabino’s impressive menu. The pool area also features a waterslide, making Sabino’s a natural and obvious contender for the No. 1 spot on the list.

Checking in at No. 15 is The Pool at Harrah’s Ak-Chin in Maricopa. Known for their Margarita Sundays and live music entertainment, The Pool also features a great deal where for $10, those who are 21 and over can purchase a wristband worth two adult beverages.
