Bang for buck: Prescott college gives Arizona students best investment return

PHOENIX — A private university in central Arizona gives students the best return on investment in the state, website said.

Payscale.com placed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University atop its list that took the difference between earnings over a 20-year period and the total four year cost of the university. The 20-year net return on investment totaled $603,700.

According to the study, the return on investment will increase over the next ten years. This shows that a college degree is becoming more important in the technology-driven economy, according to Aubrey Bach, senior editorial manager for Payscale.com.
