PHOENIX — In case you somehow missed it, June’s weather was hot, damp and weird in metro Phoenix.
It was officially hot, as relayed by professional weather people hot, not the lunch crowd walking to the car and exclaiming, “Wow, it’s unbelievably hot!” kind of hot.
Looks like June 2015 will end as the 3rd warmest and 10th wettest all-time for #Phoenix (barring any more rain today). #azwx

According to the National Weather Service, the month’s average high was 106 degrees with night times lows at 82. That worked out to 94 degrees per day, the third-warmest in the records.
Before the month ended, Valley residents had already suffered through more days of 110 degrees — 11– than they had all of last year (10).
June was also rainy, well, for Phoenix, enough to become the 10th-wettest June. Measurement at Sky Harbor Airport was 0.25 inches.
Goodbye, June. We’ll possibly miss the craziness. It sure gave us something to talk about.
