2 Phoenix CEOs get high marks in national good bosses survey

PHOENIX — Whispers of toadying aside, it’s perfectly all right to like the boss and two Phoenix bosses are very well-liked by their employees.
Career website Glassdoor.com’s annual survey of highest-rated bosses listed Scott Smith, CEO of home-warranty company OneGuard, and SolarCity CEO Lyndon Rive as among the best.
Rive was No. 20 among big-business leaders with a 92 percent approval rating from his Phoenix employees while Smith was No. 6 in small business with a 98 percent thumbs-up from his Phoenix crew.
The top-rated big-business CEO was Google’s Larry Page, who had 97 percent.
Frank Williams, of Pittsburgh-based Evolent Health systems, was tops in small business with 98 percent.
