Strong storms bring weak tornadoes in southern Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Two weak tornadoes touched down in southern Utah during slow, powerful storms that swept through the state.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1FImwyR ) that San Juan County dispatchers say Saturday afternoon brought tornadoes that formed in the Montezuma Creek area of the county as well as near the Utah-Arizona border.
There were no reports of damage or injury.
The heavy rain, hail, lightning and strong winds also made their way to northern Utah. Salt Lake County dispatchers say flooding was reported in Riverton, South Jordan, Herriman and Draper by Saturday evening.
The weather service says the Sunday forecast for northern and central Utah includes a chance of afternoon rain along the Wasatch Front, but St. George can expect a drier day with a high of about 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
