Arizona assistant track coach accused of domestic violence

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A University of Arizona assistant track coach arrested on suspicion of domestic violence allegedly threatened a student-athlete with a box cutter.

Campus police say throws coach Craig Carter remains in the Pima County Jail on a $40,000 bond.

The 47-year-old Carter is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, threats and intimidation with injury and damage, and stalking.
