Small fire ignited in Tempe high school one day after bomb threat

PHOENIX — Firefighters responded to small fire Friday at a Phoenix-area high school, one day after a bomb threat was made.
Tempe Police tweeted that the fire was in a bathroom at Marcos de Niza High School, near Rural and Guadalupe roads.

The school was evacuated for a brief time. Everyone was allowed back in about 1:45 p.m.
On Thursday, Marcos de Niza students and staff were ordered to shelter in place after a bomb threat was phoned in to Silent Witness.
