Valley-area sandwich makes list of ‘Best Sandwiches in America’

Thrillist’s list of “50 Sandwiches You Should Eat Before You Die” features one Valley-area sandwich that ranks among the food, drink and travel website’s “Best Sandwiches in America.”

The House-Made Mozzarella at Pane Bianco in Phoenix has earned a lofty reputation as a sandwich meal for which all other sandwich meals are compared to. Award-winning chef and owner of Pane Bianco, Chris Bianco, is famous for “basically inventing the new age of artisanal pizza,” according to Thrillist, which pretty much serves as qualifying commentary on Bianco’s ability to whip up one heck of a sandwich.
