Arizona houses several of the most affordable small towns in the nation, Business Insider reported.
The report was compiled from towns with populations ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 whose households spend less than 30 percent of their annual income on housing costs.
While Louisiana and Texas had the greatest amount of affordable small towns, Arizona held its own with three cost-friendly small towns.
Beaver Dam, Arizona
Although Beaver Dam is unknown to most of the world — and most of the state — it lies near the Grand Canyon National Park and just an hour outside Las Vegas, Nevada, offering residents great travels and affordable housing.
Tsaile, Arizona
Located on a Navajo reservation, Tsaile is home to Diné College, the first college established by Native Americans for Native Americans.
Quartzsite, Arizona
The most affordable Arizona small town on the list at No. 22, Quartzsite is famous for its beautiful assortment of rocks and minerals.
