Arizona highway patrol arrest driver after high-speed freeway chase

PHOENIX — A high-speed car chase across an East Valley freeway ended with the arrest of a driver early Thursday morning.
The evasive ride began in Tempe and ended on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale near the Chaparral Road exit, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.
The driver reached 90 mph during the chase.
An officer had tried to stop the car in Tempe but the driver ignored the attempt.
No other details were available.
